EngelsizForum - Turkey's First Fully Accessible Forum Platform

While everyone else in this field operates at a PhD level, I, as an individual with disabilities, brought this project to life over more than a year with zero budget and the support of just a few people. However, I must emphasize that Discord communities and Metin2 server teams supported me throughout this journey. I would like to thank each and every one of them.

My biggest helper and coding partner in developing this project was Artificial Intelligence (AI). Without using a single line of ready-made templates, we built the entire architecture, user interface, and server-side code of the platform step-by-step by managing AI just like a professional software team. This process is a testament to how powerful AI is in overcoming physical barriers and democratizing software development.

Systems & Features Included in the Platform:
• Voice-Enabled Search: Ability to search via microphone for users who have difficulty typing.
• Accessible Communities & Groups: Social spaces customized for different interest areas.
• Smart Category & Filtering: An advanced filtering engine that is user-friendly and fully keyboard-navigable.
• Profile & Security Management: Self-service password reset, profile updates, and robust privacy controls.
• Universal Design (WCAG 2.1): A modern, high-contrast, fully responsive UI that is compatible with screen readers.

Current Issues & Looking for Contributors:
Developing a project fully with AI naturally brings some technical challenges. Currently, we have:
• ESLint rules and circular dependency warnings that need resolving,
• Minor padding/alignment shifts in search bars and mobile responsive views,
• Accessibility optimization needs such as focus rings in specific browsers.

To fix these issues, improve stability, and take EngelsizForum to the next level, I am actively seeking volunteer developers and teammates to contribute to our open-source journey!
